Hi all,

I am new to the forum and will be here to answer any questions that relate specifically to Trade Skills 4U.

I will not be selling our services but simply ensuring any questions or confusions that may arise will be answered.

I have access to lots of techie tutors and some staff that work very closely with the accrediting bodies so will try and tap into this resource if need be.

If you have any questions relating to the centre feel free to contact me.

Regards

Chris

Welcome you to the forum and hope you enjoy, although i give a word of caution to tread carefully if your Trade Skills 4U is a fast track scheme to get joe blogs recognised in this case as an Electrician as you may get alot of negative feedback and attitudes on here as they undermine the years of college and onsite training needed that the majority of us went through.... Please correct me if im wrong as i say its just a friendly suggestion.

Just browsed the Trades 4u website i see there is alot of other upgrade exams etc on there for existing electricians and i sure you'll be of good info' value in this area but as a personal view i disagree with some of the as afore mentioned fast track courses as ive met a few who have done these and i personally wouldnt want them wiring my house... but this is my view as others may disagree and this is a good forum for this type of banter but im sure you will fit in nicely.

welcome along buddy,

can I ask if you yourself are a lecturer or office guru? It would be of interest to me as a lecturer to find out what kind of content is included in some of these courses, as I may end up working at one of them..

Welcome, good to see other sides of the spectrum here!

Good point

Hi all,

Many thanks for your messages. I didn't expect so many replies.

I am not a lecturer and work in the back office so my technical knowledge is limited. However I sit right next the the guy that runs the school so can prod him for info if needed.

Widler - If you are keen to find out more about our courses I can send you some info? We would be keen to hear from you too.

Thanks all

Chris
