Thanks for allowing my registration. I am not a professional electrician but I hope you can tolerate me as a now retired professional engineer in the energy industry.
I originally qualified as a Mining Engineer ( very rare now...) but spent my career in the oil and gas industry.

Without planning it I've had quite some variety from being a trainee miner in South Yorkshire to managing oil and gas operations for Shell and BG. I travelled and lived overseas more than originally expected.

If you count the odd bit, I've even had my hand in Geothermal work and Nuclear waste storage work.

I used to be a cleaver bloke till I retired then smacked my head seriously whilst mountain biking in Wales!
