Need to put a FCU in to feed outside lights. Ideally customer wants me to use a redundant 2 gang backbox that used to have aerials, phone etc in before he had it all moved about. Currently just a blank plate; Still has old grid plate in cupboard. Would prefer to have the fcu inside as he doesn't want to go outside when cold/wet to turn them on or off.
Never come across a 2 gang sized fcu so looking at grid switch modules.
MK were the first to come to mind but has anybody used the inter compatible euro module ones from Denmans/Rexel etc.. Being a European standardised size all different manufacturers are making modules that supposedly fit but don't want to buy crap that fails after a few months.
So Mk or the cheaper alternatives?
Experiences of different makes and recommendations welcome.

We only use MK these days everywhere be for that used Deta which was ok more budget used by a lot of the major house builders. I take it it will be a 3g grid with blank or perhaps neon.

he has a 4g faceplate but a 3g isnt really much of an expense. was thinking fcu, switch and neon then out to the lights via junction box outside. if need be i can throw a blank in.

Click do a 3 module wide plate that is 2 gang Mode Range(CMA432), Polar Range (PRW432).

Could fit MD022PW (twin module width 20A DP Module) and MD047 (fuse module) to it. Alternatively if wanting a neon and a decent look MD023PW (twin module width 20A DP Module with Neon)
