Its either programmed incorrectly or not compatible with uk sim....
You have a basic ade alarm, and you are trying to make a Rolls Royce alarm out of it......If you want full text or info on your mobile fit a purpose built British alarm such as Texecom. Replacement panel with text digi, and lcd leypad, and 5 prox tag would cost aprox £150...this would text zone area, name etc

Rudie I'm 5min down the road (Cannock) I could come and give your system a service for you & get your device up and running.
Standard service charge.

No thats just the control panel, lcd keypad and coms unit supplied, but either swop out yourself or get someone to fit...will work with sensors and bellbox you have. Plus any problems I can do a remote download to help program.

Been doing some testing and it looks like bell - has reading so isnt 0v so looks like it's getting some back feeding but trying to find out how. If I remove the bell- wire then it reads 0v

ok then then the bell - is triggering 0v.....otherwise siren wouldn`t activate, if you require clean contacts to dialer, fit 12v polorized relay to bell + & - and trigger a separate 0v from aux

Not sure I understand tazz . Bell- terminal never reads 0v unless I disconnect the wire coming in from the siren box. I don't understand where this charge is coming from as bell- connects to bell sw- in the siren box.

A standard multimeter is not going to show a true reading due to bell circuit.....and is possibly your problem with the dialer....fit a relay to prove....or buy a system fit for purpose

In engineer mode with bells on, you will have 0v bell -
It is the trigger - for the bell
