How come those stupid re-wirable plugs are SO hard to rewire? The wires are never the right length, and one always never fits or the strangs come untwisted...

What tricks do you have for using re-wirable plugs, or making them easier to rewire?

Fiddly maybe, hard though? Come on dude it's only 3 wires. Ferrule the ends and you won't have any wayward strands!
 
crikey, I've seen it all now. after all the cr@p I've read on ere recently, and now I'm reading that someone is having issues wiring a plugtop.
my gran could do that competently, and she is 81 with arthritis
