One day not so long ago we were 1999/00 and 00/01 lost 4-0 at home to Man u and about the same away one boxing day

I`m lucking forward to the day when Leeds Utd get back into the premiership, cant wait to see them getting walloped week in week out.............that`ll shut all the gobs****s up in the local, funny how all the Leeds `fans` have reappeared again....................

We were invited down to highbury, when we played in Norfolk for what was then Granada the TV region, we got picked up, and met the then great Bertie Mee, Charlie George, Pat rice, Sammy nelson, Bob wilson, George armstrong, and a host of others, but alas not good enough, but enjoyed it all the same, Arsenal used to own a bit of property in and around highbury where we stopped with a land lady, but not to be Mac, to be honest the occasion got the better of me cause i played rubbish mate, confidence knee trembler with meeting all those stars, what should have happened was we stayed away from them till later and then met em, but it was the other way around and i bottled it.

Yeh you are goin well mate, lets see end of season, we got a bit of a handful this weekend have we not.

That would av been ironic mate, but as you know i am only 8.3 miles from the theatre of dreams, as i said i would,nt been good enough, don,t know how these lads like walcot who is a fantastic player does it week in week out, lot pressure to produce these days, more so now even, however i loved the experience although it was never to be.
