Good afternoon all,
I’ve got to fit 2x 20w LED Floodlights this week and just wanted a sanity check before I start.
There’s one light up already supplied from the upstairs RFC via a double pole SFCU. Supply goes out into the back of a wiska box which the pre-installed flex of the light glands into. I’m going to take my supply from there and clip the cable neatly under a step in the brickwork round to a small wiska box beside each new light.
I’ve got a reel of cable I was planning on using (can’t for the life of me remember what I bought it for). It’s black 1.5mm 3-core H05RR-F (with 3183TRS also written on the label).
After a few searches online I’ve found it’s the tough rubber sheath rubber variety, but just wanted to double check whether you think it’s suitable for use on this job?
If it’s not, could you suggest an alternative? Obviously haven’t got a problem getting some different cable - it just makes the job a bit more profitable if I use what I’ve already got!
Thanks in advance!
