Good evening I have fitted 54 Halers in a bungalow on 4 circuits and some type C breakers
The customer called to say they were flashing when dimmed, halers recommend grid 500 Richmond so I replaced the switches but he doesn't like them.
He tells me I can use a normal dimmer and put a resistor on the last one on the circuit
1) Can anyone explain why LEDs trip the mcb from time to time unless you use type c breaker think its inrush current!
2) if the resistor can be fitted what size or how do I calculate is it a simple thing that goes between live and net in the junction box
