It's Mrs. M's birthday tomorrow and me being a tight arse I've done it cheap.....



Birthday card = 95p

Follows = 2.99 from Tesco

Meal = Free for us two. I do the electrical maintaining for the posh restaurant .

Taxi to town = Free. Taxi driver friend owes me a few favers.

Presents = She told me what to get her, dvd + an album. I've still got a HMV voucher left over from Christmas so that was free .

Birthday day out = Both of us have taken the day off and we will have a day out in the countryside = It's her car, her fuel and she's driving = FREE.

Lunch on the day out = ok I'll buy her a McDONALD'S happy meal = 1.99

Night time drinks = I've still got 2 bottles of wine given to me as a thank you from customers so that = Free.





Having a great day out with the wife on her birthday is great.

But not spending anything on the credit card is PRICELESS.
