our clients are the same.

they have just bought a brand new merc,bmw,audi or similar and complain at something that doesnt cost much

It’s a status symbol. What does it matter if he can’t make use of all the pretty numbers as he can’t relate them to the regulations?

That's where I'm going wrong then, spending too much on books to afford a flashy MFT.

i have just bought the 17th edition book... and the purpose for me getting an mft is to make sure any work i carry out comply to the regulations... and the reason i like the meggers is because i have had hands on with them before and found them easy to use and no wasting time
