Hello, I've been trying to find a company that allows me to complete the theory content for C&G 2365 level 2 online as I currently work in China but will be returning to UK in September. I have an A level in Electronics so believe it will be beneficial when completing the theory side. Then, I will have full patience for the practical part. I have found the website Total Skills. Has anybody heard of them and are they a good training center?

I don't know them but if Google 'distance learning electrical course" you will find a number of colleges to choose from. Distance learning is not for everyone, but if you prefer learning things on your own, as I do, you'll probably do well. Good luck and I hope you enjoy a career as an electrician.

The a level may be beneficial depending on what you have covered but it won't contribute in any way to the qualification

I started the level 2 Diploma with them about a month ago. You need to attend the centre for the Health and Safety and Communications exams, but can do the other theory exams remotely on a windows machine with a webcam and microphone. It’s pretty slick, though I find some of the learning materials a bit dry. They’ve been going around a year and a half. The customer service has been really good, and the instructor we had taking the H&S practical had a good amount of experience and knowledge. Like you, I had other related qualms so the exams weren’t too difficult.
