Impressive list of quals. However practical experience is more important I beleive, have you a job in the industry? Have you tried modelling ;)

Yes they are impressive if i do say so my self. However yes i totally agree practical experience is very important, with out the practical u aint worth nothing in the experience of electrics. Same as driving or being a hairdresser, u can have all the theory knowledge but with out the practical experience wats the point?
Yes im lucky enough to have been taken on with a friend of mine who owns his own company :).....as for the modelling id say 34 was not an age to pursue that kind of career. Plus ive had enough of the bitchiness from females in business...(fully qualified hairdresser by trade) Im more up to the challenge of becoming a qualified sparky....:)

I have not trained with them and can offer no comment on their quality. Obtaining the qualifications you listed will not be easy and will require a lot of effort. But perservere and it will be worth it. Having a job will help a lot as there will be people to help and there will be the oportunity to practice.

Try talking to some existing students and tutors, they should welcome the interest T4TS should be able to set something up. I have met people who have been unhappy with a variety of training organisations but I felt that some of them were expecting the organisation to pass the exam for them. With most organisations/training you get out as much as you put in.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Hi KFH, thanks for your post, I do understand that its not gonna be a walk in the park! And Im willing to put the effort in! like you said, you get back what you put in to things.
Im on my own with 2 kids, and want a better life for us, Im lucky enough to have a friend in the business so I get to learn the practical as well as doing the theory in my own time.
I have heard a lot of negative regarding the T4TS, but as you said its people who want things handed to them on a plate.
I have posted on other threads, but not actually come across anyone who is currently doing this course or whether theyve passed with T4TS.
Thanks for your positive feedback thou and yes I'll let you know how i get on :)

Sounds like you know what your doing Jenzi. Good luck.
With the quals you will obtain and the practical knowledge you will pick up from working with your friend , looks to me like you are giving it a good shot and setting yourself up to get the right balance.
