HD Sky over cat 5

Hi,

Trying to transmit High Definition Sky to the TV using Cat 5 cable.

Has anyone done this before? Do you suggest any particular type or brand of Converters that support IR as well?

HD anywhere. You will need two Cat5 cables though for IR pass back.

Our Firm uses these all the time, reliable and relatively inexpensive. From past experience Cat 5 is no good. At the very least shielded Cat 6.

I've used the HD anywhere 50m hdmi extenders and they are great. They now only need 1 cat 5 to run full dh and still give you IR pass back.
