£18,500 fo a PIR!! What was it Gatwick airport or something??

It was a college, over 1400 circuits, all to be done on night shift-there's 33% on your labour rate straight away!

We did a factory/office last year across 15 weekends with just under 3000 circuits, there's a week of data input after the inspection/testing there just to produce the PIR alone!

Why is that making me think of Michael Caine, Kermit the Frog and a hoarde of mice working in an office ............just me I guess

We pay our electricians £140.00 per day, we charge £275.00 per day, though most stuff is worked out on a price basis. To get decent blokes you got to pay a reasonable rate, otherwise, as soon as something becomes available thery're off! Our men do all the testing as they're qualified (we supply meters etc.), I just can't imagine who (or what) you'd get for £100.00 per day! Chimps maybe.

burger flippers earn £65 a day... Bin men earn £90 a day....
