Heat detector...

In the downstairs of the house where I am working I have installed a smoke detector in the lobby and heat detector in the kitchen. Theres a small utility room you enter through a door in the kitchen and through another door in the kitchen leads you to a small room where an electric boiler is. Was just wondering would my heat detetctor cover these rooms or would i have to install in these?
