Heating Engineer set me a challenge

The panel was directly behind the pressure vessel. Really tight but not totally impossible, I told him that I'd return the day after with a new battery. He said it was ok, he'd sort it.

Got a call the following morning asking if I could give him a lift as it was a bit hard work. Got there to find no cover on the panel.....dropped it down the back of the tank trying to remove it.

Call-out charge I hope...

Certainly would have been.....if I hadn't spent half a day fishing

And only one catch.

I'd have thrown it back if he hadn't paid cash.

Fantastic. Id love a patch of wood. Theres a copse (maybe two acres) about 150 yards from my house (as crow flies)- fitted some kitchen lights next door and jokingly chortled I'd be happy to clear some of the fallen trees out (its 90% ash), he happened to know the owners & farmer who rented it and they said "help yerself". Nearly wet myself with excitement at this good fortune. Recently been gearing up when had a few spare hours and wreak havoc. Just cut 1.5m lengths stagger to the car and then process at home.

the wood store is looking healthy...

Ive got my ticket (BCO) and did fell for money but only as a side time passer. After all nowt more exciting than the crack & thump of tonnes if wood crashing down
