Hello.Heating my flat (1bed) is becoming too expensive with the old heaters I have, and I think I need to replace them.I have heard of these Rointe heaters and the manufactors claims they are supposed to be the best on the market, but I dont know if the claims about them are true. They are very expensive so I need to make an educated choice. Also I have noticed mould on some of the walls and thought it would be down to condensation through poor or not enough heating,is this likely.Any advise to steer me claer of wasting good cash is very welcome.Thankyou

Electric heaters do not suffer from substantial degredation over time, are you sure that they are to blame? Have you checked that you're electricity prices haven't just gone up?

Rointe's are 100% efficient, just like almost every other electric heater out there! This means that they all convert 1kW of electricity into 1kW of heat, so these units cost a huge amount more for no real benefit.

If you correctly size a set of direct acting (convector) heaters then you'll get just as much heat for your cash, without the huge capital investment.

Mould is more likely insulation than heating related - poor window seals etc.
