Heating/water system wiring help needed

Pics attached...sorry for the delay...couldnt find disc for blackberry...these were taken with a dodgy digital camera...

any help re:what i should test/do next would be appreciated

digital timer is what i would like to fit eventually once system up and running.

It needs testing and reconnecting properly, you may have caused an issue with a valve
