I've spent the last 38 years refurbishing period properties in and around London - design and build since 1986. Always tempted to over-engineer. Mid way through master's degree in space science. I'm kept poor by my unwillingness to resist technical challenges. I'm trying to limit myself now to smaller, more manageable jobs.

Welcome.

A masters in space science? simples.... I mean, it’s not rocket science is it?

Oh it is rocket science....

just seen time line of OP. a rocket scientist insomniac. perhaps he''ll be the only one to see the earth destruction asteroid approaching. he'll do well here.

Many thanks, everyone. Insomnia does seem to be part of my routine these days, sadly. The little bit of rocket science I've done is nothing like as challenging as electromagnetism, in my view - I think rocket scientists like to keep it mysterious. But, I managed to make a mess of answering an Ohms Law question in a class during a Napit refresher course a wee while ago. The instructor actually said "it's not rocket science". I tried to hide under the desk...

I’ve got a BSc in engineering. Including thermodynamics.... which is rocket science.... apparently.

It’s not brain surgery, is it.
