right im 23 from stoke on trent, staffordshire.
I did my apprenticeship 3 years ago as an Installation Electrician and have since gone back to collage to get my 17th edition but as im quite young and got layed off as soon as i completed my apprenticeship and ive only being doing the odd month here and there sub-contracting im struggling get work.

Ive been trying to get into plc programming and cotrols as i have all other qualifications for most factory maintenance jobs but how do i get into this field.

ive searched for apprenticeships as i would happily do it all over again
i have also tried ringing every factory around here i can think off and tell them id be willing work for less and attend collage in my own time if needed.

have i overlooked anything? any advice would be great.

cheers. mark

Why not buy a evaluation kit and have a go simulation various control proceses. You could easily set up a minature set-up Ie lets say batching liquid controlling speeds of shut of valves at different viscosity's etc ......just a thought
