HELP NEEDED LOOKING FOR DECENT AUTO ELECTRICIAN please read

Hi I have an iveco cargo horse box its lost the starter switch live.. but if I pull number 19 fuse it comes back starter works fine but then cuts power going to the diesel pump solenoid?? I have to hold key on and pull 19 fuse in and out takes ages but can get it started?? Any ideas ive checked all relays on fuse box. I could wire a live to the starter solenoid on a push switch but thats just a bodge would like to fix it back to normal..

Has it got some form of immobiliser fitted?

Could be a miriad of things,but whether the cab tilts or not,there is a proximity switch at rear of cab in the middle,which stops the starter energising if the cab is not FULLY down. This can be "tricked" by the fuse larking you mention...but there are many other things it could be....i know you are probably more concerned about that pastern fracture or strangles on the next yard,but we need more information...:43:
