Hello ,

I need to connect my lightning pendant and i need some advise.
I have total 3 cables coming out from the calling ,so total3 L 3 N and 3earth.
But how do i connect them correctly? There is only 2 spots for N and 1 more spot for L ,but i got 3 cables for each ? whats does 3 spots in middle for loop suppose to be for?Can i connect all L and all N together in 1 spot?

one of the blacks should be red sleeved. post a pic.of the existing wiring before you disconnect anything. arggh, just seen it.

1. those cpc's (earths) need redoing. bare copper showing.
2. the 3 reds go in the 3 loop terminals.
3. 2 of the blacks are N's. 1 is switched L.

get them wrongand you will have:

a) a burnt out switch
b) a maybe damaged MCB, or a blown fuse.

20 minute job or a sparks. call one.
 
One of the blacks shpuld have had a bit of red sleeving or tape on as its the return from the switch... Also is there an earth fly lead to the cobduit box? Not evident on pics

I see ,thank you. I guess i wont touch anything and just call certificated electrician to do it ,dont want to take any risks.

take murdoch's mid point as a guide. if it's more you'll need to dig deeper. if less then you can have a couple of beers.
