The best solution I came up with was to mount a flip-flop relay in the kiosk and convert all the switches to bell-press type. The final circuit would look something like this;

Davesparks came up with an interesting variation where he suggested leaving the original 2-way switches and making the new switch a bell-press type that operates a relay in the kiosk with the relay wired to do exactly what an intermediate switch does on a standard 3-way wiring scheme.

There's pros and cons to both methods.
 
I think you would have to move away from a fixed two way or intermediate switch option and look at the possibilities for alternative switched control. There are insufficient cores to be able to implement standard two way switching.
Hmm just read the above two posts that came in whilst I was typing this.:(
The simplest solution I came up with was each switch as a momentary switch operating a single latched relay at a convenient point.
