Hi all,

I am at present looking at getting my electrical qualifications but I need some help...

Do I need NVQ level 3, and if so could someone please explain how the qualification works as it seems that no one I speak to at the colleges really knows! Also if you have any recommendations as to where I could do the course that would be great! I am going round and round in circles trying to find the right place to get the right qualifications without getting ripped off! Why is it so hard to get qualified?!?!?!?

Also does anyone have any experience with ATL Practical Training? I have been looking at their Renewable Energy course and it sounds just too good to be true (normally means it is!) It consists of the following...

1) Up to Level 3 NVQ Plumbing (just need NVQ assessment at the end)
2) Up to Level 3 NVQ Electrical (just need NVQ assessment at the end)
3) All the usual Renewable features - PV, Grey Water, etc

An all for ÂŁ6820 / ÂŁ35pw for 42 Months - Interest free!!!!

Basically I am lost! I am hard working and driven and want to get my qualifications sorted but I need some help guys. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

as you are in cheshire, contact crewe college. think it's called south cheshire college. they do the proper courses there and will be a damn sight less than ÂŁ6820.

No I haven't started it yet, this is just what they say is included. Its just for the NVQ 3 course alone with ATL Practical Training its ÂŁ5770 so there is just over ÂŁ1000 difference withe their Renewable course and your get the plumbing NVQ as well and all the renewable training. This is either and incredible deal or something is not as it seems!
