Help wiring 5v power supply | on ElectriciansForums

I am replacing a 12v/5v power dual supply pictured (black} to the other pictured 5v power supply to run the lcd control panel
[ElectriciansForums.net] Help wiring 5v power supply
but am unsure were the thin purple and red wires go that are connected to the com terminals an the existing power supply(black).

The new one has v+ and v- i am guessing they go to these , But which way round. Any help most welcomed.

The new one has v+ and v- i am guessing they go to these , But which way round. Any help most welcomed.

The one that goes to Com will be negative, and the one that goes to DC1 or DC2 will be positive.

On the new supply V+ will be positive.
