Help wiring light fittings

So the Mrs went out today and brought two new light fittings...I called my electrician to put them up but unfortunately he died on the way round....Being the hero I am, I thought I'll put them up myself. I mean how Hard can it be? It's not like you need much intelligence to be an electrician...maybe just a tad more clever than a general labourer! I'm not really interested in paying one of you clowns to come and sort it out, so could one of you tell me what wire goes where? Possibly pretty sharpish before the Mrs gets home.

I'm real sad about that. What is going to happen when they have no more engines to work on , Will they have to fix electric cars ?

All them are is a battery, motor and switch for accelerator.... How hard can it be???

Maybe we could form some sort of organization to show them how to do it and charge them a moderate fee , then charge them again every so often to see if they can remember.
