Discuss Help with combination microwave in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

just a thought. if this is in a domestic kitchen, is there a dedicated cooker supply ( generally in 6mm on a 32A MCB ) with a cooker isolator close to the cooker position?

Well, there's certainly a switched box for the cooker, identical in appearance with the one for the microwave, and on the fusebox that appears to have its own 16A fuse. There is also an identical switched box for the hob (induction) which has its own 32A fuse. I'm not sure if that's the answer to the question, sorry. Thanks for your help

As Telectrix says Appendix 15 is practice "in accordance with" 433.1.

Regulation creep has meant that the 2.2KW is now 2KW.
It also says that the maximum fuse in a FCU is 13 amp.
