Hello
I connected caravan from house's consumer unit.
I added to consumer unit B40A MCB protected by 63A RCD, 10mm2 (3 core) armoured cable (was 70
metres from house)
It is done, but I'm not sure what I need to test.
When I was in school my teacher said me that I can test only circuits which
one I added or changed nothing more (I don't have 2391, just 2392). Caravan has inside another consumer unit with 40A RCD (main switch)
What about inspection?
Can you help me? Please?
What i need to test?
Thanks
Tom

2 RCDs in circuit.... no discrimination. fault in caravan can take half the house electrics out. as for testing, you test what you have installed. a distribution circuit to a sub-main.

swa go to consumer unit in caravan (to RCD)
2 RCDs because caravan's consumer unit has only RCD, (like main swich)

As per above from Dave. Swap to a 63A outlet and problem goes away. What gets plugged into it is not part of an inspection.
