Help with multi wired pendant to 3 wired next light.....

I had to fit a fancy glass type light in a porch last week,i did chuckle at the fact that the light designers had left a nice 8mm hole to feed your 1 wire into said light and job done.Yes i like having to drill a 32mm hole to bring 4 cables into the fitting and using lots of wagos.3 plate and sometines additional on top is the most common light wiring method in the uk in the past and will continue to be so for generations to come,so why do the designers not put some more thought into the design and incorporate proper connections inside.Adding £1 to the cost of a light wont stop them selling lots of them.

I think the OP simply wants someone to state that it's ok to stuff connectors into the ceiling,any other answer is going to be ignored.
