i think the estate agent is telling porkies to try and get you to go cheaper

also i work east london and i work for agents and i've gone to a couple of these super cheap sparkies cowboys would be a better word
the agent dont give a monkeys as long as its cheap

1. 10 way Wylex board with breakers & RCD’s, 16 mm & 10 mm bonding cable as required, Henley block, MET block, pair of tails and other bits & pieces = £100 minimum.
2. Complete testing and putting right things as we go along.
3. Certification and LABC notification through NICEIC.
4. Necessary insurance.
5. Driving to the place of work.
6. Follow up’s and rectifying unexpected issues or provide support over the phone.
7. Handling impatient clients and going through hell in collecting money from them.
8. Giving a guarantee for parts & labour for at least a year.

I tend to use new components as much as I can, as I do not wish the client think that I used old cables and ripped him/her off.

£150 certainly is a joke! I wouldn’t take anything less than £350 provided that I don’t come across any major issues.
