i use a Henry for dust extraction on the wall chaser, router, mitre saw, .. the lot! and then at the end it vacuums the carpet and the van when its messy...

cant fault it tbh.. i run it without a bag most of the time too and just empty the contents into the wheelie bin...

CEF stock henry Hoovers
I have used them for years
those VAX things are too noisy
only prob with henrys with age is the pick ups breaking off the cable reel, you can either buy a new reel or the chaps at the factory sell a repair kit with rivets and instructions
and brushed wear out
I used to service them for my old employers
take the filter out and use an air line on the thing and change the bags or empty them often as the motor is cooled by the air pulling through
oh and dont do as our donkeys did, they took the bag out cos it was full up and used it without, the grit will kill the motor
and another donkey used it to remove water!!!!!!!!
pity it was on a transformer
the newer ones have 2 speed motors most excellent
and please do not mention those other things in my hearing, you know the yuppies favourite hoover
always going wrong and impossible to fix or get spares for

I have a pink Hetty and she has sucked up all the dust from my re-wire and general rubbish. I get the bags from e-bay at a steal. The suction is really good for such a small vac. Very impressed. I used to always have Dysons but I have to say Hetty can hold her own!!!!!

Henry every time had mine 8 years and still going strong and does it get some stick. Never used a bag just empty it into a bin when full.

Am I the only person that's had trouble with Henry's? I have burnt 2 out, motor over heated and failed, not just the thermal cut out. Thought it was cus I was using the with a wall chaser and they couldn't handle the extreme dust.
Brought one of the vax's I little bigger than Henry and no problems,
although the bags seem expensive
