Discuss hey people wondering if some 1 could shed some light on rccb keeps tripping in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

rccb only trips when any heavy duty appliance is plunged in microwave boiler. tv seams fine

this is what i have done so far tested the mcb's also the rccb and all is fine so placed it back in (friend done a ramp test for me)
next i disconnected all appliances and light bulbs and checked for voltage leaks and to my surprise i find on the split board n1 bank neutral has 108V coming threw it in relation to n2 bank, and eirth so eventually isolated the single neutral wire and have left it disconnected but even disconnected the rccb is tripping
im actually a bit confused

i had a similar problem on friends house last year and found that it was water filled up in a flood light outside but it was giving similar values

any advice is helpful at this point thanks

Well what else would you expect to find in a flood light ???? :joker:
