Hi Tuff Cable

Anyone any experience of using Hi Tuff cable - I'm yhinking of using it with catenary wire for a sged.

You may find that HiTuf isn't flexible enough if the catenary is over a couple of metres long. You need to allow for the movement of the catenary and cable.

Just make sure you are not using it in place of SWA, as it has no means of earthed mechanical protection so may require a RCD

I would use the toughened rubber flex on the cat wire.
