Down at the village show yesterday and the question was asked

"your an electrician...(god how I hate hearing that), could you convert a washing machine motor to turn slow enough (5rpm?) to roast a pig".

Now my initial answer was anything's possible but the more i think about it the less i think it is.

Any idea's gents.

This reminds me of the great train robbery in the 60's. The mastermind was never caught, most are now set in folk law ronnie biggs etc etc ....

Anyhow, crucially they needed a bent electrician, whom could tamper with signal wires and stop the train directly at the bridge for the getaway. This was a big stumbling block for their plans, Anyhow one of the gang introduced a 'bent sparky'...he said yep, no probs I can stop the train there...

Ok he's in, 25k is his share all agreed.

The plan to rob the train goes into action......the sparky takes his role, he smashes the green signal light, and places red plastic cling film stuff over the light...other gang members were shocked! ****in ell...25k for that, they thought he was going to tamper with electrics, anyhow the train stopped, the rest is history.
Perfectly true btw
ha ha, just read something similar from the mouth of new york mafia head of family back in the '70's (Gambino or Genovese), the 'access systems specialist' agreed a 100,000 dollar fee, yes he did kick the door in.
