I am looking for a home alarm without being recommended by ads and marketing.
I would like a wired bell box and key pad, but wireless sensors and door contacts.
As i prefer not to run out cables all over my house.
Any recommendations please?

I have a system from HKC. CPU and internal sounder are hard-wired but the door sensor, PIRs and alarm bell are on batteries that last at least 2 years. There are a choice of sensors - indoors I have PIRs that have built-in cameras that take photos when triggered, in the garage I think it's PIR/Radar due to movement of cold air that could trigger a simple PIR. Whole lot connects to the internet so can be controlled from a phone app. I can also log on to each PIR camera and just take a picture any time. But not real-time live video, like Blink-XT, Hive, Ring etc.

Since I also have Hive on the heating, I added a door sensor to that too. Plus the Blink XT that records whenever there is movement.

Fantastic much appreciated everyone, to be honest not heard of any if these, but i will check out which one will suit my house

That will only count when the alarm is active o/p said tamper. O/P doesn't seem to be in any rush to give more info, so I doubt anyone else will...

The previous bell box worked fine. I think it was just lacking the added security of anti tamper. Can this one be wired the same?
