home automation alexa or app controlled light switches

I am trying to automate my home as much as possible having installed hive for heating and some light bulbs - however there are some rooms where the lightbulb option is not possible and I need to have automated light switches.

The problem is that all the ones that I have seen (which connect to Alexa) seem to require live and neutral wires but my bungalow was built more than 25 years ago and whilst i have a new consumer unit most of the wiring is the old UK live feed/return. All the switches I have seen so far require at least live and neutral to work. Are there some which will work with the older uk system.

Re-wiring is far too expensive as there are no conduits to enable easy feeding of cable.

Am I stuck with manual light switches?

there are a few auto remote systems where the receiver fits in or above the light fitting. compatibility with alexa and/or other systems is outside my scope of knowledge.

I did see these but I am looking for something that will replace existing switch which still allows touch control as well as smart remote thanks

Don't know if anyone has tried the energenie Mi Home tat. Nothing but trouble. Did one install and get called back every other week because a light switch/ socket / gateway stops working.
