sorry I couldn't come along I thought it was 50+ like a sarga trip

Yep it was a bit like that, Glenn getting told off at the Wago stand for taking too many free samples, Tel just walking off where ever he wanted to and Phil D is just Phil D! We had a great laugh and you should have come.

No it isn't, you've got to harden up these young girls.

Yes I was, I'm sure I spotted a GLENN looking like character, but I got scared and went home.

Did you see the good looking bloke wearing glasses in a blue golf t-shirt chatting up the girls? THAT WAS ME!!!!! As for Glenn?!?!? He is a special member on here and at the Elex show he was special there too! Please dont remind me of his driving, next time I'll get the bus!

No i don't need a ban mate, this site is a good source for information, and a good laugh.

I will have my work done with plenty of time to spare anyway:8:

Simon you have put a lot of effort into this T/S and when you pass your exams (with distinction of course), your member title will be changed to "member" just like all the other sparks on this forum but you will still have access into the T/S unlike the other general members. The T/S owes you that much at least.

Because of this thread, it has thrown up a question that We/I did not think about:- "What happens when the trainees are no longer trainees????" Certain people will be still allowed access that have proven that they help others out and have contributed to the T/S.

Halls is the first, Simon in 2 week or so you will be the next. No longer a Trainee but not yet a Mentor, class your self as a bridge in between the two levels.

You have put some work into this section and it has not gone unnoticed. Stick around for the next few months or the next few years!

Lets see what is possible of our efforts?

It's a great feeling helping people

Ok I've re-read what you said Archey.....

"you've got to harden up these young girls." Then on the next line you say......

"Yes I was, I'm sure I spotted a GLENN looking like character, but I got scared and went home."

You have to be a man to meet Glennsparks. Archey you have spent too much time away from Yorkshire my friend

(I'm now awaiting the backlash for that lol)

Well i wont actually be a fully qualified sparks until the NVQ and AM2 are done so technically still in training:smile: Would definitely still like to have access in here though and help out where i can. As far as the college side of the 2357 goes i understand the layout and what needs to be done so can offer help in that direction etc.

Definitely feels good to have the dreaded exams out the way though:shades_smile:

You are more than welcome as a junior Mentor once you have completed your level 3 mate.

NVQ3 and AM2 is something else in my book. I'll tell you later.

Sounds great.

As far as practical experience goes i worked with my last company for 18months doing mainly domestic and a lot of testing. Some commercial like various nightclubs and bars around my area. My last job with them was me by myself installing a new installation in an extension/garage for a fruit-monger. New RCBO board fed from Armoured sub from KMF switch by intake, then cables through joists to conduit drops to sockets and switches. A few outside PIR lights. Then initial verification. Was good fun. Hopefully have another job sorted soon and crack on with the NVQ and gain experience in other areas.

The new company do a lot of agricultural and don't touch domestic so that's a bonus.

Can I be changed from a trainee to member now? :-)

Of course you can Halls, we will let you keep your access to the T/S so you can pass on your knowledge to the new trainees. You have a good attitude and I can not see any reason why to take away your access, stick around and be involved
