Hello,
I have had valuable information over the last couple of years from this site and have just passed my Level 2 C&G 2330 by distance learning. At 43 I am hoping to complete level 3 in the next 18 months. Its a hard slog but great to learn about This trade. I looked at all the courses from the £4000 OLCI(electrician in 6mths yeah Right!!) but thought 2330 was the correct route. I know my biggest fight will be trying to get that first step with regards to not having served an apprentice ship, plus my age and not to forget All the cards required. I work in the fire industry and will be looking to move onto fire alarms but would like to do more electrical on 230V. Does anybody have any experience of getting into this field of employment at the wrong side of the age scale?
Thanks again for all the help....
