Think I’m missing something here. Have been asked to remove a Horstmann E7 BX and replace with an Electronic 7.

The existing set up is two immersion elements (top & bottom) in one cylinder, 24hr top and O/P bottom

Now, the BX has connections for both the incoming off peak and 24hr supplies, likewise outputs, but the Electronic 7 only has one set of terminals for the incoming supply (L/N), and separate outputs for off peak and 24hr supplies. The spec says it’s suitable for two immersion elements.

Surely both O/P and 24hr supplies do not go into the same terminals???!
Any advice?

Ok, now clarified. The Electronic 7 can only be used on a two rate meter, not on a two meter supply (which is what I’m dealing with).
There apparently isn’t a suitable programmer for this setup, to do what my customer wants - limit the time the off peak charge is taken.
