i am asked a question by a friend......the new extention will have a lighting circuit, ring main, cooker, shower, 3 pannel heaters and 2 water heaters. will a 16mm armoured be enough to take it all???

Without knowing the demands of the cooker/shower etc, it's tough to say. If it's a a normal swa, not xlpe, clipped direct, a 16mm can carry around 89 amps. Assuming diversity, i would say it'd be ok. That's just my opinion/theory though.
