Hi,
I am 27 and work for a construction consultancy in London as an assistant project manager but being in an office all day is not for me. Before and after uni I worked in various construction jobs and have done the very basics like adding plug sockets and chasing walls but obviously have no electrical qualifications.
I am looking at doing some kind of intensive course if necessary but I feel that on the job training might be better but cannot live on the ÂŁ80p/w week on offer for the couple of adverts I have seen.
My questions are:
What courses are worth doing in the London, SE area?
Are there any companies that are more likely to take someone like me on and who are they?
Thanks in advance
Ash
