Here's one guys what if you get called in to wire in a 10mm shower circuit, thats fine but then you notice that there are no bondings or rcd protection as its an old board so you explain to the client and they cant afford a new board or extra labour for the bondings.
Next step is to install your own small mains board with rcd protection just for the shower circuit you have installed and think stuff it put bondings anyway for peace of mind is it true that due to installing a new circuit in a bathroom then the lights in that bathroom also have to be rcd protected so you need to put them on your new rcd board or stick in a rcbo in the old board.
After doing one of those two do you then have to test all the lights on that circuit????
My point is by now the clients bill has nearly doubled and they dont understand that you have to do this but think your ripping them off
