How is everyone's Summer?

Hey everyone!!

You may have noticed I haven't been around as much lately - I have been busy with other things whilst @dan has been doing forum upgrades and stuff! But I am still here floating around in the background and making the brews!

How is everyone's Summer? Have you been away, if so where? Have you been on any day trips with the kids? The weather has been pants this year and the TV even more pants! The flowers and fruits in my garden have been no where near as good as usual

And also who is ready for the 6 week holidays to finish??

Hi, yep enjoying the late summer weather we are having down south, our flowers and plants have been quite good this year me watering every day, had some in pots last year but have since put them in the ground and have really taken off.
Out of interest are you Mrs Dan lol

Oh dear has it been bad weather up there

It hasn't been the best of summers, the occasional day etc.

We did go down to weymouth, and back over 3-4 days calling in at various places along the way, it was definitely summer there and then, but back to rain etc once we got back to Scotland.

Seems to me we are expecting a lot of rain over the next few days, I reckon summer is over now! I hate dark nights.

Summers over. Kids are back to school already up here… although we’ve only got one still in school…. You get less teenagers kicking around the streets in the evening now…

It’s raining… it’s windy… I might have to think about putting a coat on.
