When you tell someone you are a sparky they always say, you must have loadsa money, but seriously how many hours do you work on an average week to live a no frills life.

I probably do about 50-60

About 20-25 hrs a week at mo (+ about a day pricing, wholesalers and paperwork).... part timer.... been on my own about 2 months and slowly picking up.

But earning nearly same ÂŁÂŁ as when working for big firm doing 40 hrs a week and hating it! and then having to do 2 evenings a week and every saturady private work!

Not so bad this time of year, but dont fancy 20-25hrs a week when summer is over

Been self employed for 18 months now. First half of first year was quiet doing probably 2 days a week 8-3 ish. Second half of the year picked up a bit doing 5 days a week 9-5. This first 6 months have been dead struggling to get by doing odd jobs here and there. just starting (fingers crossed) to pick up again which is good

12 hours per day mon - fri
8 hours sat
8 - 12 hours on sun

Do this constantly even got moaned at by the boss because i am going on holiday for 2 weeks in July.

....I'd lose the will to live................................................I work to live not the other way round...................I do a flat 40 hrs 8 till 5.....if I have to work a weekend I'm not a happy bunny.....too many other things to enjoy at the weekends to waste them working.
Done the 7 days a week thing years ago, whatever I earnt a way was found to spend it....time has to be found to do the things you want to do every week, otherwise what's the point?
