How many lights?

After a call out today I was wondering how many twin 5' flurescent fittings you all would fit on 1.0mm and a 6A MCB.
I may explain more when I'm more awake and the kids are more asleep.

this will give you the amperage of the fluorescents just keep adding as close as you can get to 6A ( startup current on fluorescents is double the amperage)

Not more than six I would have thought, maybe a few more if they are not switched simultaneously.

I thought it was wattage of flourecent lamps x 1.8 / 230v

yeah, x 1.8 is the startup current

13 single fittings based on 58W lamp = 104.4W on startup > 6A x 230V = 1380W > 1380/104.4= 13.22 fittings.
