How much should i be worth?

Realistically? Im self employed and work on CIS. I have my own van, tools, steps, rods drills etc. but am without a tester nor part of any governing body. I am Level 3 NVQ Qualified with my AM2 and have been working on site for over 3 years. I mainly specialize within domestic installation but have experience and am qualified within commercial and industrial.
I have good site knowledge and common sense about me, i am preety able to manage my own jobs with minor assistance.

My main contractor wants to talk to me about a possible rise, im just wondering how much you think i should be worth roughly? And if you were to employ someone like me for your business how much would you be willing to pay?

Sit down and do a cash flow forecast that way you can then set the rate that you are worth

I am in north and NW london AND I got £145 a day (before tax) 'subbing' full time (van all paid for) on CIS. I now earn about 30-40% more working for myself. Both have stresses. Working for a firm you 'll invariably be working for a grumpy get and working for yourself the same problem ;-) but seriously worrying about work when self employed can be a real ballache.

I will take you at your word: Construction Industry Scheme a method of making life very hard for honest sub contractors. oh, sorry, a means of ensuring subcontractors pay the correct tax and contractors do not pay them in cash.
