Hi,

It's a house with a DB with re-wireable fuses and neither the gas pipe nor the water mains is earthed. How much would one charge to put this right?

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Cheers!

Really depends on how long it would take. If the board was only 3 circuits and the gas and water came in in the cupboard next to the DB, a day perhaps. However if it's a 3 phase system and gas and water are on the other side of the house.....

Unless I have had one Carlsberg too many the only thing needing sorted is the bonding to gas and water. The DB is fine until any new electrical work is done and RCD/RCBO's are needed?

Hi,

The DB was only half a metre away from both Gas and water mains. I bonded them both and tested for contunity and resistance. In all it took me around an hour and a half.

Please let me know if I am missing anything.

Cheers!
