We recently start the strip out of a newsagent in the Glasgow area and the following photo is what one of the guys found when he open the dist board.

Spot the issue?

It annoys me that we get pulled up for silly things when we're having an inspection from the NICEIC / SELECT and yet this goes on.

What was it supplying? 2no twin sockets serving the tills. To add to this look at the back box.

SPOT THE ISSUE !!. Where do i start, there are more problems in there than there was on the test board for the 2391. I dont know if it is just my eyes, but is that a new way of making a PME connection that i can see?

asked my gaffer if I cold use this term on a PIR he said NO I had to put "the connections and cabling inside the DB are not in line with good practice and require remaking and marking to assist testing"

The property consists of a block of flats with the shop below, in every flat there was something.

These were from the flats:-

Incoming Supply (up here they are called laterials, the supplies to the flats through the common close, not sure if this is the name given elsewhere)

No need to guess the reasons why!

The cable is a two core pyro with a tenby off the sheath to supply the earth. No word of a lie the fuse carrier still had the tab in place. The person must have some size of balls!
