When I'm trying to reply on the forum the "enter" key doesn't start a new line ? Am I being slow or am I missing something?

There was a known issue with an update of Internet Explorer that caused the enter (return) key to stop working when typing in the reply text box. You could try updating IE again, maybe they've fixed it by now. Otherwise I can only recommend you try another browser.

"Hello HandySparks",

Thanks very much for this Tip - it worked immediately.

I really am very grateful - although it was not particularly time consuming to have to keep accessing the Forum using Google Chrome it is obviously preferable to be able to click onto the Links in the notification Emails - come to the thread and be able to write a reply using Internet Explorer.

How did You know / find out about this ?

I would have had no idea at all what this meant - 'Switch Editor to Source Mode' .

"Thanks again".

Regards,

Chris

I think someone mentioned it in another, unrelated, thread. Since I could see that members were still having problems with this, I thought it was worth repeating here.

"Hello again HandySparks",

Thanks again for this very handy Tip - I am sure that I and the OP on this thread are NOT the only people who have had this problem on the Forum with Internet Explorer 9 or 10.

So I think that there will be quite a few Members who will also be grateful to You / the Post where You remembered the `Fix` for solving the problem.

Regards,

Chris
