Found this on a recent eicr, it was feeding a couple of outside lights, there was a lid on it so I presumed it was being used in the usual way, the training centres must be so proud.

The only thing that will fetch is my lump hammer through the plaster lol.

I had 2 thoughts when the lid came off:
1= wtf
2= why

I wouldn't mind but the bloody conductors were long enough without the need for undersized extension pieces lol

They've got black and grey the wrong way round.

I think they are fuses, hence why they are smaller than the SWA. Remember the inline fusible links popular on 70's and 80's cars?

Good man, it is scary that someone probably walked away from that chuffed with their effort.

Cable entry in box taped over.
Box lid was not securely sealed as there is dirt on the edge.
No sign of sealing around the screw heads (though the washers may do this).

Also i would say its better to leave some of the sheath around the cores when glanding off.

Maybe a personal preference but just seems the better way of doing it.
